FEBRUARY 19, 2023--E. PALESTINE DERAILMENT CLEAN-UP
I and several House Representatives, along with the House Speaker, Minority Leader and local U.S. Congressman Bill Johnson, visited the East Palestine site yesterday, meeting with residents, EPA, Mayor Trent Conaway, Norfolk Southern representatives, and remediation personnel to ascertain what can be done at the State level to help. The environmental testing continues and a huge clean-up project is proceeding in an impressive effort there by everyone involved. Here are some photos.
